JOMELOS, OICI AND USAID ARE IN PARTNERSHIP
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last year 2005 Jomelos and Opportunities Industrialization Centers International (OICI), in collaboration with US Aid had a partnership program called the HOPE, ( HIV/AIDS, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and PLWHAs) and the maternal Child health & Nutrition (MCH/N) interventions.
The interventions include the provision of a monthly dry micro-nutrient dense food rations composed of Soy fortified Sorghum Girt, Wheat Soy Blend and vegetable oil to Jomelos children. In addition, the programme seeks to build the capacity and increase the knowledge and skills of the children through vocational skills, and so on. For more about the HOPE program visit, www.oici.org (check the site).
